I confess that i do not know that much about this game yet. I actually only found about it early today. But im thinking about playing a human. by chance can someone enlighten me on the subject

The Duchy of Wessex is mainly a Human clan in the land of Mercia (Human part of the DF world: Agon).
Even if we favor Human members more, we do let the other two races: Dwarves and Mirdains(Elves) in.

Around 2/3 of the clan is Human, With the rest split equal amongst Dwarves and Mirdains.

And yes as Koma stated, If in doubt, Go Human since we need more of them.

Thanks for all the information. I will probably play a human then. Still do not know whether to be a ranger or warrior. Love the idea of cavalry aswell. Heck i have to be accepted first so i wont play to vigoursly yet.

Oh yeah when i searched Darkfall beta on google and on the main website it comes up with clan appliactions, is such a guild like Duchy of Wessex aplied or even accepted?

Yep, We have been accepted in the Clan-Beta.

Sorry if this is wrong. But am i a trial member or just an esteemed guest. I filled out the application and i can not remember if that makes me one or not. If i am wrong please do not think of as an arrogant person

First, you fill out the application. Then, your application gets reviewed. If accepted, you become a trial member. Trial membership can last anywhere from a couple weeks to a few months, and if you pass, you become a full member of Wessex.

So, right now you're waiting for you application to be graded.
