I've heard Aeneas' singing before, he'd do Tom Jones really well.

Currently, I'm working on the storyboard because most of this is going to be live-action starring Duke Wessex himself. It would be great if Fish could come down for a day or two to co-star as his helpless protege.
The track will be finished by the end of next week.
Hopefully when you get that track the Duke will post the Duchy of Wessex recruitment thread in the Darkfall Forums? New blood is a healthy sign, and I don't think we've gotten any for quite a bit.
Correct. More arrow fodder for the grinder!
Hah! A worthy necro, Erwin!
You do me proud .
Oh, look at that. Time flies.
But it would be awesome if you ever finished that song.
Totally awesome.
A two year necro. You deserve a medal.
No one's posted here since, what, a year ago?

I think we might as well sing "Men of Wessex", though I'd be just as happy to hear us chanting and banging our assegai on our shields. Go, take the Poll.
I've shared my basic views on this in the Darkfall forums at least once:

By the way, the lyrics are (as re-written from the Royal Canadian Hussars version for the film Zulu in 1964, and adapted with aplomb for us):Men of Wessex, stop your dreaming;
Can't you see their spear points gleaming?
See their warrior's pennants streaming
To this battle field;
Men of Wessex, stand ye steady;
It cannot be ever said ye
For the battle were not ready;
Stand and never yield!From the hills rebounding,Men of Wessex, onto glory!
Let this war cry sounding
Summon all at Wessex's call,
The mighty force surrounding;
This shall ever be your story;
Keep these burning words before ye:
Wessex will not yield!
