Grant of Arms - Kaylem Sothenic
TO ALL AND SINGULAR to whom these presents shall come, we, Twyster Stronngust and Lepida Nuykani, Heralds of Wessex, send greetings and good tidings!
WHEREAS Kaylem Sothenic, Knight and Constable of Wessex, has demonstrated both valour and virtue indeed and been taken as Constable to His Majesty, King Manus Dei, he is desirous of having Letters Patent of Armorial Ensigns granted and appointed unto him and duly recorded in His Majesty's College of Arms, and accordingly hath rightly requested the favor of His Majesty’s Warrant for our granting and assigning such Arms.
AND FOREASMUCH as His Majesty the King of Hyperion did by Warrant under his hand and Seal authorize and direct us to grant and assign such Arms and Crest and in the same Patent such Device and Badge accordingly, Know Ye therefore that Twyster Stronngust and I in pursuance of His Majesty's Warrant and by virtue of the Letters Patent granted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty do by these Presents grant and assign unto the said Kaylem Sothenic the Arms following,
THAT IS TO SAY: Per pale Argent and Purpur an Oak Tree eradicated counterchanged. Thus, with Helm Argent wreathed Argent and Azure, and crested by an Eagle proper, displayed, elevated and regardant, and armed dexter with a Sword Argent; mantled Azure; all subscribed by a motto thus: "Fortitudo, Perseverantia, Dignitas" ("Strength, Perseverance, Dignity") on a banner Or; and supported by a rampant yet recursant Lion Or, langued, and a Unicorn, Argent, maned, tailed, unguled and gorged with a coronet Or. The whole of which comprises the Heraldic Achievement.
THESE MAY BE BORNE and used forever hereafter by the said Kaylem Sothenic and by his Descendants with their due and proper differences according to the Laws of Arms. In witness whereof I have to these Presents subscribed my name, by the Grace of Our Radiant Heavenly Lord and His Majesty, the King of Hyperion.
