A celebration for Brockmoore!

An event will be held as a celebration for our triumph of Brockmore!

We will be hosting a jousting competition this week, please /sign below if you wish to take part!

Rules:
Your armour shall not be of better quallity than full plate, and your weapon will hold the carvings of a rank 50 or lower.
You shall use only one horse, and wield nothing but your one-handed weapon and shield.
If or when the first horse dies, the other particapant has a choice to either carry on jousting or to dismount but it is dishonourable not to dismount but we will leave that to you, if you dismount you fight with only your one-handed weopon and shield, there will be no magic and no heavy two-handed weapons, potions and food on the other hand are allowed during both the jousting and ground combat.
Enchanted jewerlry, armour and weapons are allowed.

There will be nice rewardings for first and second place, and the winner will get the chance to fight our glorious Knights for even more riches!

Date: Sunday 16th January.
Time: 8:00 pm UK.

Thats all you need to know at this time, so come on brave fighters of Wessex, show us what you have!!

Maximus Moralis will be there to fight for honor and glory.

However I would like to attend as visiting gentry even if im not used nor known to fight on steed, hopefully I would only embarass myself!

I could not match the brilliant fighters I met during this joust, but I want to thanks the Ventenar and our leaders for this amazing event. I believe we all had a great time.

Thankfully, it seems that I am in the right job and not destined to be a fighter of great renown like my Cousins.

Thanks to everyone who showed, it was fun to host and some really close battles, my favourite battle of the night was Kell Sharr vs Aildon Thewind .....enjoy the prizes!

I'm putting the video footage together today so it should be up tomorrow at the latest.

The raw footage from the jousts with all the waiting cut out is 60 mins 27 seconds. This may take a while to edit. :p

I have a plan. How about I release the free for all and my fights on youtube/own3d.tv as the general public don't usually like to watch third person fights then I release all the other fights, excluding mine, as a single file download and post an index of which fights happened when. This would help the third person view since the quality is better on a downloaded file then on youtube/own3d.tv. Does that sound ok?
