Political map icon

We could use making an icon for our holdings on the political map. If you look at Lux Arcanas they look pretty nice.

We can use our ducal dragon :)

Icon sizes: 35x35 is the city icon size, and 20x20 for the hamlets

We need to be in an alliance to use an icon so I'll make one like Lux did as our name. Should the abbreviation for the guild be WSX, DoW or something else?

I tried red first but the gold on red looked a lot nicer. Is the red an absolute requirement? I'll have another play with it today using different hues.

The Red Wyvern is the symbol of Wessex so it should be really, unless its impossible to actually see what it is of course

I've just been playing with that. It's a bit harder to tweak since the wyvern and background are a single image but I think it's coming on quite nicely:

The red wyvern should be used as much as possible on all public displays. Ideally the one without the word "Wessex" or "WSX" at the bottom as that kills the Ducal coat-of-arms vibe it should have.

So the one you have there Falesh is pretty good in my opinion but there should be other ones without the scroll background I am sure. If possible the wyvern should be set within or on top of a shield like shape to further enhance the coat-of-arms idea.

Anything other then a near perfect square looks pretty bad for the political map due to the size restriction of 35x35 pixels for the city and 20x20 pixels for the hamlet icons.

Ah well, we must live with that then. Still, the one you have there is good.
