By the light of Soldeus I vow to give my body,heart and soul to the cause of the righteous. Like a fire in the night, I shall hold back the darkness with all my strength. Fierce as a lion I shall be to the darkness of mine enemies yet gentle as a lamb to the poor souls drowning in its depths.
I so swear that I, bearing the candle of knowledge, will spread the knowledge of Soldeus' love to the farthest corners of the world, and if it be so, I shall die for his word and adoration.
May Soldeus bless me,
May Soldeus bless Wessex,
And may Soldeus bless the world.
Forever in the light, I so swear.

The College of Heralds finds this Vow to be in good order and it is hereby recorded. May the Radiant Lord shine brightly upon the Holy Church and upon all of Wessex.
