Oath of Service - Kaylem Sothenic, Esq.

Here do I state my Oath of Service to Sir Beric Veincrusher, Knight of Brockmoore,

Until he bid me leave or shall find in me merits deserving I vow to serve him as his squire,

I shall offer no threat nor insult nor harbor ill will to any man my Lord doth hold a friend,
I shall be observant and thoughtful of all things,
I shall take all knowledge deigned to me,
I shall remain at my Lord's side on the battlefield,
I shall show nor harbor fear or doubt in the tasks given me by my Lord,
I shall share all knowledge I hold,
I shall remain true and faithful to my Lord and his laws,
I shall defend the beliefs of the Kingdom and my Lord,

So swear I in the presence of Auros.

Kaylem Sothenic

I do hereby accept Kaylem Sothenic as Squire to mentor him in the arts of chivalry and warfare until such a time he is deemed worthy of knighthood. I shall hone his heart and his mind in the knightly ways of the profession of arms to further the military strength and might of the Duchy of Wessex.
