To the Church that is in Wessex, re: the Vicar of Wessex

To the Church of Morgaine that is in Wessex, all faithful throughout the Duchy,

Grace to you and blessings from the Holy Fathers of Dalriada.

Our Lady of Light calls you onward to confront Chaos from the four winds of the world. By Her lead you are bidden to maintain vigilance against corruption and greed, to challenge the heretic in Her stead and to defeat all disorder that has want to fall within your paths.

Your Lord Bishop, Hadrian Accardo, whom we all pray for daily, is knowingly well. May the Light shine before his path always, dispelling the Darkness that would seek to disrupt and bring his long journey to ruin.

In his leave, and after many letters sent abroad between the Lord Bishop and myself, it is brought to annoint one among you who is privy to the Church's state and care. This is so Our Lady's war on Chaos may not be hindered by things unforeseen, but rather be carried onward to the edges of the Demon Prince's bastion itself.

With special blessings, Destinova, Vicar of Wessex, is called and annointed so that Our Lady's people throughout the Duchy should not suffer ignorance of the faith they live by, and so that the Holy Virgin may be celebrated openly and with love.

May your Vicar hold your trust,
May your actions not make trouble for him,
May he forever guard the tenets of our faith,
May he be guided by The Lady's wisdom, always, and drawn by Her purpose through the duties asked of him by your Lord Bishop.

I pray for your well-being and care, brothers and sisters, so that your Light may not flicker in the wake of Unholy Darkness, ever. May your shields remain untarnished, and may you refrain from holding the sword of faith idle, lest you be struck unknowingly by those who seek out the weak in our defenses.
