Certain positions are exempt from taxes as before (Gentry, Freemen and the Church).
Taxes are as follows.

The 'Tax' will start from Monday 10th January 2011 and can be paid any time with a week period (Monday to Sunday). Late taxes with a good reason should be paid as soon as possible to avoid a continued issue.

Father Elagost, as a member of the Clergy you should know that you are exempt from paying Taxes to a secular lord and should not sign such a document. However the Church should continue to funnel all its resources into the collective clan bank until such time that we need resources to aid our purposes on Agon.

His Orc however does need to pay, which is what I assumed his message meant your Grace.

Indeed it was. :) I should have been more clear. I will however, still be helping out the guild as much as I can. Even if it means calling my taxes donations.
