This build is for extremely knowledgeable players and for those that have tried both Fighter and Mage setup's before.

My brothers and sisters in faith,

This morning, during my prayers and in a moment of divine clarity, I was reminded of the teachings of the great and noble St. Lucian. Here was a man who was a master combatant but also gifted with the power to heal his fellow brothers. It is his philosophies and beliefs that have led to the creation of the following skill build.

It is a PvP hybrid build and it emphasises the importance of survivability while dealing damage. Bandages and the magic skills should be used to heal as you are choosing not to take the resting skill. Melee combat is still the best method of dishing out consistent damage and spears currently have the edge. You should rebind your targeting key from tab to something like E or F so that you can keep it held and constantly identify your target.

Slot your weapon, bandages and healing spells on hotbar slots 3,4 and 5 (or something else easy to reach while using WASD) so that you can quickly swap out your weapon and heal yourself without standing still.

To maximize the potential of the build you will need around 100 Strength and 100 constitution. Your Dexterity should be at least 80 as the higher it is the easier you will be able to manoeuvre from attackers and find room to use your magic. Intelligence should be around 40-50 so that you have a high mana pool and get bonus points to your knowledge skills. Psyche is actually not that important if you are willing to invest another 10 points into Ecumenical Spells and raise it to 50 as Magic Reflection is guaranteed to reflect all incoming spells that are cast on you for over five minutes. Better than halving incoming spell damage huh?

This is inspiring Your Excellency. It has put everything into perspective and I shall begin practice as soon as possible.

Soldeus guide us all.

Amen!

I don't know why, but it made me think of this video from the awesome daily show http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/tue-may-11-2010/god-smacked

Anyways, thank you, your excellency. A most awesome build.

It's pretty close to what Myrm rolls around with right now I think and it's definitely effective and neat. I'm still sticking to 2h axes and full melee for awhile in hope of balancing.

I thought I would take the liberty of writing up a list of all the books required for this build.
There are some books that are not available from a Librarian thus, the locations as to where these "special" books are found will be specified beside their name once they have been located.

I hope this information will help and if anyone has any more ideas to contribute towards this information, do not hesitate to step forward with suggestions.

I have separated all the skills into main and sub skills to try and make things a bit easier.

I believe the way of the devout soldier is the best way to remain competitive in today's world. The Northmen have adopted dark magics which allow them to regenerate, and so we must look to Soldeus to receive his blessings and the abilities to follow suite.

Not sure is this is in another thread.
What I need to know now is the levels that all the magic skills should be leveled to ...... specifically on a hybrid.
Please and thanks. (sorry I have no time with RL to research atm)

Is this outdated??? Cause I wanna try this XD

The spec for this hybrid moose is as far as I know so outdated that the first observations of it being outdated are themselves outdated.

This, despite the fact that moose bites can still be pretty nastī.

The two-fisted fightin' brethren, sistren, and indeterminate siblings of the Church Militant are, doubtlessly, allowed and encouraged to update and expand on the possibilities therein, at the last minute and llama style.

I've got a more up-to-date hyrbid build somewhere around here. Think I put a link to it in the training grounds on TS or something. But keep in mind the build is from pre-awakening and may require some tweaking.
