Here do I state my Oath of Service to Sir Rivers Kelak, Constable of the Ducal Garrison.

Until he bid me leave or shall find in me merits deserving I vow to serve him as his squire,

I shall offer no threat nor insult nor harbor ill will to any man my King doth hold a friend,
I shall be observant and thoughtful of all things,
I shall take all knowledge deigned to me,
I shall remain at my King's side on the battlefield,
I shall show nor harbor fear or doubt in the tasks given me by my King,
I shall share all knowledge I hold,
I shall remain true and faithful to my King and his laws,
I shall defend the beliefs of the Kingdom,
