My rl name is Patrick Lavergne and it is of Frankish descendancy (region of Auvergne in France) so I figured I'd keep the last name. Actually hooked up on BF2 but plan to switch 100% to DF as I don't have as many hours to devote to gaming than true hardcore players. I should fare between 15 and 25 hours per week.

I work as a Media Consultant for Yellow Pages Canada, have been with the same girl for 10 years and can be seen outside playing hockey at temperatures of up (or down?) to -35 celcius.

I enjoy well structured organizations and the Duchy is truly impressive in that matter.

To answer your question Anduin, picture yourself a Knight and you'll pretty much have an idea of my playstyle.

Equipment-wise, I'll be wielding a longsword + large shield and will be able to switch to a two-handed sword whenever the situation permits. Later on, will master mounted combat and use a lance as a primary mean of charging. Will also be wearing a full plate armor.

If magic is as important as it looks like, I'll focus on defensive buffs and minor healing capabilities even if it just means on myself.

In regards to magic, the spell chanting line may be of interest to you. I plan on using a similar playstyle, but will likely pick up some archery skills as they will likely prove useful at times.
