I am new to darkfall and am still deciding whether to join this clan or another which seems similar. i'm in my mid 20's and other than gaming enjoy reading, movies, and the outdoors. I havn't decided on a race yet but will be either a dwarf or a human. i have enjoyed crafting in other games and depending on the crafting system in this game may decide to do that here as well.

Also on another note when registering on this form I got a database error. Sorry I forgot the exact message but it was a generic one line error saying something to the effect of unable to update database or unable to connect to database. Other than the normal stuff I changed the last field of what rank do you want to burgess. It created my account anyway despite the error. I didn't see a place to put posts like that.

I wasn't aware there was a naming convention. Normally I would always use my character name but as I don't have one yet I was unable to. I just used this in hopes that this forum is like SMF in that it allows you to change your display name so I can change it, or have it changed later to my character name once I have one.

You can request a name change on here once you decide what your characters name will be.
Although Wessex is very organized and structured you still have alot of freedom to fufill yourself completely so I dont see why you should consider any other clan but this one! (also its usually more fun being on the winning team) :D

Hello there. What other clan out there is similar to Wessex? Another clan of Hyperion maybe?

As far as I know, we are one of a kind. There is no other feudal recreation clan (other than in Hyperion).

I don't think we have decided. I have never really worried about last names for game characters before but I wouldn't be objective against it.

I haven't really thought of a last name yet. We could possibly have the same one, maybe we could add some other people to our family as well. It would be interesting to see people walking around town with the last name of someone else. One could probably set it up so that people that join the guild are invited into a family.
