Hello, I have filled out the application but, haven't been invited yet. If I do get invited I hope to join the soldiers and possibly become a Knight of Wessex. If I am allowed at a later time I will become a free man and start my own business as a crafter (not sure what trade yet).

No, I didn't apply for war online. I'm just waiting for Darkfall. I did apply for a guild called republic of the silver sun but, that was for Darkfall. I have since found this clan and changed my mind or are you the same clan.

We have a fairly intellectual bunch that ranges from the crazy Libertarians heralded by my own efforts to a balanced presence of liberals so ya know ... people get touchy about those things. But, yeah, I don't tell people that their applications are dual routed to Ron Paul's campaign HQ. Have to recruit for the revolution too!

Nope. I don't enjoy the noisy fringe elements that post there.

I was a precint captain for North Dakota and tried to make it to the Rally for the Republic,but I couldn't get off of work. Ron Paul won the county I was in btw :p His supporters help him, but they also tend to hurt him. It was easier to run the campaign alone and build up local support based on the principles rather than the resources of the campaign itself.

But I digress ... we're hijacking this intro thread in horrible ways. And on that note ... welcome to Wessex!

Hey I'm flattered to have my thread hijacked. At least it makes it interesting. I do plan to be a soldier at first but, I may coast off into a crafter later on when I have a good amount of combat experience and capital under my belt. I thought about even being a knight but, I know that's only reserved for the most honerable hero's. I believe everyone should serve thier country for a time even if it's only for a short while. Although I do understand that people have obligations outside of the game so it wouldn't be prudent to have such a law. I hope to be a fine addition to the duchy of wessex army.

I submitted an application and it said that I should receive an email within about 2 days. I was just wondering if it takes a little longer or if I need to resubmit an application.
