Hello to one and all.

Glad to be accepted as a trial member to the illustrious Duchy of Wessex. We all need a little more mediaeval, a little less modern in our lives.

Look forward to seeing all of you in Darkfall, can't wait for the game.

Welcome to the forums, Raikken. Media eval? Are you into video production, or something? :p

Glad you decided to apply for Duchy of Wessex. Most people here have been pretty nice in my experience, even to us newer members, though they might jokingly give you a hard time.

What kind of character are you interested in playing in-game?

(P.S. I'd recommend reading the stickies in every section you have access to, they are very informative for newer members, and for potential Yeoman applicants.)

Tarcil, thanks for the advice. I usually lean towards playing human, high dps stealth characters (i.e. rogues).

Of course the nice thing about Darkfall is that it seems you can develop your character any way you want.

Welcome.
Another good thing about darkfall is its a good game to roleplay a character.

If you're wondering why there hasn't been more of a welcome, keep in mind that we've been getting absolutely bombarded by new applicants recently ;).

Don't worry though, you're still special to us.

Thanks for all the greetings.

Oh, and Rhygar, your signature line picture reminds me of the German actor Klaus Kinski (which could be a good thing depending on your style of play):

Yes, I remember seeing his signature picture yesterday and thinking the same thing. Now the Duchy has two Kinski types. Not bad if you want maniacal fighters.

There's been a ton of newcomers, and I feel bad not introducing myself to all of them. However, the College of Arms has done a fantastic job of letting newcomers feel at home in Wessex, specifically Chrono and Jusik, and this is a tradition that should continue :)

If you want to become more involved hop on IRC and ventrilo. These forums don't give an accurate picture of most of our members as hearing another voice or life-chat. You can find both in the Boroughs section of the forum.

Welcome to Wessex.

No, that really is Einar.

No mention of my efforts?

Dublin.

I visited Ireland a few years ago (great country) but unfortunately didn't make it all the way to Dublin. Maybe another time.
