Manus, by the Grace of God, King of Hyperion, Duke of Wessex, Count of Elba, Grand Master of the Solar Legion of Honor, to all liege subjects offers greetings.
The following awards and decorations are being bestowed on the heroes of our most recent battles. These medals are, with the motto "Lumen Solis Victrix" and the name Manus, the oldest things in Hyperion, at 19 years old. In the past these medals were detailed graphics that were displayed in an animated flash window as part of Hyperion forum profiles. They aren't mere figurative ideas, but are graphically and visually represented honors that are permanently attached to a username, and are awarded based on a set description of congruent recognition for deeds. In the future, Hyperion profiles will again be functional for the display of these accumulated honors for every subject.
First, to the leader who organized the judgement hour attacks that led to the greatest Hyperion victory in Life is Feudal to date, Torlar of the Silver Sun Republic, we award the Combat Medal.
To Hamato Yoshi and Karak Argisuan of the Silver Sun Republic, we award iron crosses, for they were instrumental in obtaining early intel of the enemy's bases, points of weakness, and points of entry/escape. This allowed Hyperion forces to go in with a solid plan and have an exit strategy ready.
They conveyed this intel in the form of screenshots that were given to the commanders a mere two hours before Judgement Hour, and allowed them to devise the plan that targeted so much.
Lukas Stormwind of Wessex led the forces of Wessex in the battle in question and lost not one Wessex member as a casualty. For his leadership, we award the Combat Medal.
To Sir Kentalis Wraithborn, of the Armigers, whose leadership as constable and a jack of all trades lent skill in intelligence gathering, trade arrangement, diplomacy, and even combat, we award the Royal Award for Meritorious Achievement.
To Lord Peppovitch, Marquess of Hospingham, who in the early days of the war with Spectre Legion led a charge against against the enemy and singlehandedly lay waste to many, we award the Distinguished Fighting Cross.
These heroes are exemplars of what every Hyperion soldier aspires to be. Their greatness is an inspiration to myself and hopefully to us all.
