I'm not sure whether you're specifically interested in working as a clerk of the chancery, or just any form of yeoman work (there's also the reeves that deal with revenue and economy, and the heralds that deal with diplomacy and all things aesthetics). Either way, the yeoman exam is your key to this line of work.
