Greetings noble citizens of Wessex, I am Toradume Lasombra of the Mirdain. I seek to serve His Grace, The Duke of Wessex with my blade and my bow, for the glory of The Duchy. Swiftly do my feet pierce the darkness, silent do my enemies fall.

((OOC: I?m a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music now living in San Diego. I love adult swim and disc golf. IN-N-OUT is divine. I look forward to getting to know all of you.))

Eager to serve His Grace,

Toradume Lasombra

I met this dude at the Ocean Beach Hostel and started telling him about Darkfall. His eyes lit up and he had an unquenchable thirst to hear more. He's one of us. He also has some friends which I (we're) going to try and persuade into joining as well...I think they're all currently playing WoW, but don't hold it against them, they hadn't heard of DF yet.

I give my seal of approval on this guy.

Welcome to the Duchy, Toradume.

Mirdain are more than welcome in Wessex.
But still not top priority (*cough*Dwarfs*cough*) ^^

That's funny, I always thought dwarves were the lowest priority. In fact, I sometimes think some of them come short of Wessex standards. I sometimes wonder what dwarves do in hairy situations.

It's a fact that we need to keep our numbers higher then the other races just to be seen out there in the world.
Another fact is that we are the best race suited for chopping, Thereby delivering two of the most important resources (Ore and Wood).
Third one is that we of course chopp things up pretty good in the battlefieldSmaller then anything else, But strong enought to fight equal against a higher number of Orcs.

Only the cool kids get them, like I said in IRC.

This guild is incredibly So Cal heavy, which rocks. Good to see another San Diegan in the mix.

Welcome.

It's great to see so many west coasters, and hopefully I'll have the privlage to play with you all more because of timezones, because I tend to take the later american shifts.

I do what I can. Let's keep the effort up and take over all of SD for the Duchy!

Hey guys,
Thanks a lot for being so welcoming. Glad to see the thorough socal representation. Chrono, big things come in little packages, but i'm sure i don't have to tell you that. Oh, I had forgotten one thing in my intro post:

Please grant me access to the appropriate forums.

Phew, glad that's out of the way.
Well, I'm really excited to be a part of your community. (fingers crossed)

Playing style for those who are curious; I'm the sneaking in the bushes and tall grasses type. Small melee weapons like daggers for swift close combat, and bows for ranged head shots. I focus on speed and stealth as my two strongest weapons. That's why i'm so excited about this game because it doesn't have the 'click once for timed interval hits' like WoW.

Take it easy y'all.

I recently moved to california, and I live in Patterson, which is 4 hours away from Ocean Beach.
I was at Ocean Beach yesterday and it was nice.
Haven't been at In-and-out yet, but I heard it was as slow as hell.

WOW, wait up, you haven't been to In and Out?

You need to go, its totally the best, and its good for you, well...as good as a hamburger gets. Just order a cheese burger animal style, hold off on the fries, and grab a shake.

welcome... I'm a socal resident myself - In and Out is cool and all, but if you ask me Fatburger is where it's at.
Although, right about the shake. In and Out makes a heckuva shake...

I seem to remember a Wessex Health thread that showed up not too long ago. I forget what the message of that thread was but it seems everyone else has forgotten as well...

Hey, as far as burgers go, In and Out is as healthy as it gets. If your active, a burger a week won't hurt ya at all.
