I'm hoping that this guarantees a baseline of functionality on release: Steam will actually grant refunds for completely failed projects.

I remember back in the day I had some issues with Steam, but lately they've been host to all of my favorite games and seem to be handling it just fine.

The free advertising alone makes this worth it, though, and this has to be viewed as a sign that this new Darkfall is a fairly complete project.

I'd hope, at least!
