I made a dwarf last night called Paul Varden..

It was too dark to play so I may give it another go today :)

Im downloading for the first time, rolling a dwarf also I think. Tryna see If RSS will let us join up with them since I dont think the duchy has a presence

its not pointless if everyone else plays on NA :) ...I really wish they never split those servers up.

No point in me playing with NA players if I'm asleep when all the action is going on. It happened previously, all the NA players got recognizition where as the EU players got neglected.

You guys can join up with us, but hell, keep the Duchy tags once you get up and running. We'll get you geared and out the door, but once you're on your feet we can talk about getting you your own holdings.

I'd love to get Wessex back into our Hyperion effort and build a solid foundation before DF 2.0.

id love to play but, apparently i cant download directx 9 on vista so im screwed...

Vista should come with DirectX 10, as DX9 is way out-dated...

Run DxDiag and see what you've got installed. Hopefully it's not Vista - that's what's on my desktop...

My only other idea is that you might need to try running as an Administrator. I'd offer more advice, but I just woke up in a bad mood.
