Anyone use a Nostromo?

Also which version to get as I have seen that the older N52 seems to be better performing, any advice would be good.

Yeah, I have one, i find pressing the keys can sometimes not yeild a keystroke because you have to be pretty firm. But aside from that, I like it. I find its a nice fit to my hand. I dont use the change key button much (the one that cycles through the 3 different setups you can have), i find pressing that with the side of my thumb a bit strange, though ofcouse i could shift the cycle method to other keys so its not a problem. I tend to use the programable mouse buttons to do shift and control for that, though if i did I could have 9 key layouts for all the buttons and my head would explode as i tried remembering them in a fight.

I use an n52te and used the n52 before that. It rocks and is definitely worth it! My personal preference is for the n52te over the old one.

I use the 11 key to do a momentary red shift. That means while I press it down with my little finger all the other keys are changed which opens up a lot more bindings.

Looks pretty cool and very functional for a game like df. I could consider getting me one of these as well if the reviews from df players are good.

i got one also. bought it for darlfall but to complicated for that game if you ask me. but using it for another game now

Basically yeah. Because it has more buttons all within reach you can leave your hand still on it and select any spell/skill you need. This compares to a keyboard where you need to stretch your hand or even move it to reach the same number of keys available to you on the n52te. All the keys can also be simple macros too.

I'm not sure why it would be too complicated for darkfall. It's just a mini keyboard with some extra buttons and the possibility to assign a key to change the other keys values, which is almost the same as using shift.

So do I. It's a bit complicated at first, but after a few days it's really nice and very useful.
