Lords' Hunting Party - 1st August

His Excellency, the Right Reverend Malachi Drake, Bishop of Wessex, to all children of Soldeus sends greeting.

I am calling forth a Hunting Party to increase the flow of coin into the Duke’s coffers to aid in the development of Wessexshire. The hunt will take place on the 1st of August and all resources and gold that are gathered will be collected by a member of the Ducal Court.

All Subjects of His Grace are asked, in keeping with their oath of fealty, to attend the Hunting Party for as long as they are able. The Hunt will begin at 1400 GMT+1 and will be called to end when the ‘game’ runs scarce.

May the Radiant Lord Soldeus guide us in our efforts, and shine brightly upon us all.

I would most earnestly petition my lord to allow my very most humble arms be allowed to attend the hunt. I am not yet very skilled in the bow or the axe but I will do my best to fell some beast.

Men, we need three hundred and twenty gold crowns before the week is out, this hunting party should sort that out so I hope and expect all those who can attend be there on time prepared with weapons and armour.

All who participated did a fantastic job and have the gratitude of all. We made excellent progress towards our goal and with such dedication and teamwork I am certain that we will reach our target quicker than many of us would expect.
