Out to kill Wiesents today, forget it Myrms are atacking away.
Go back to town, oh what do you know Boozer is snooping your pockets, oh no!
You run but what can you say, you get stuck anyway.
You wait for the GM only to know in Sweden it's 3AM you know.
Server crashes anyway you just quit and sleep away.

Something hit me while the server was offline for some time today.
A little voice whispered me "you have it in you". So I decided to post my moment of inspiration here, a little moment of poetry.
I hope you enjoy.

Disclaimer:
This is not the actual story of my character, nor it is an actual story at all.
Any resemblences to any person or mustaches are completely coincidence.

What's that I see in the distance?
A Springbok hoping! Such graceness!
"Com'ere, little fella" I say, reaching my hand
*SWOOSH", beheaded with swiftness.

Dozens and dozens more of 'em I see
Intriguing, how many more of 'em can there be?
Slashing and swooshing and biting their necks
"Off to town" I chuckle. "I'm selling the pelts!"

I turn 'em in, and receiving my first copper,
I laugh and laugh and start a menslaughter.
Yes, it's a problem that unfortunately I have,
It happens when the happiness is too much to bear.
I can't control myself, It started as a child,
My mother gave my first sword,
And I pierced her in the eye.

I ran out of town, hiding from the law,
But only after I stopped to pee.
After hours of travelling, a town I saw
I go read the sign, it's called "Moh'Ki".

And this ends the first chapter of Garadin Alwhindale's "Corner of Poetry".
See you when the server's dead at a similar hour.

 12th May, Year 408

I arrived at the camp of Moh-Ki yesterday alongside Lanya, Kaez and Uncle Reamus. They have been very hospitable towards us. After our encounter with those ruffians beside the lake I wasn't sure what would become of us with only a few of our posessions left.
I still don't know what became of our younger brother Galden but I fear the worst.

22nd May

Kaez and I were called into Sir Kaylem Sothenic's tent earlier today. A scouting party of the Garrison had found a body.
Kaylem handed me our mother's pendant. Galden had been given the golden trinket shortly after her death.
I know not what happens to people after they die. But I hope neither of them are alone now.

Rest in peace Galden. I love you my brother.

23rd May

I buried what remained of Galden's body this morning. Kaez didn't show up. He is handling it a lot worse than I feared. It's probably best to leave him to grieve.
My ignorance caused me to forget about Lanya's previous loss. These past events have brought back thoughts of her sister who was lost to those blasted slavers.
She has asked to lay with me in my tent tonight. It would probably be a great comfort to us both...

24th May

I awoke early to the sound of metal upon metal this morning. Instinctively I reached for my shortsword and quickly began to unsheath the rusty blade. My speed faltered as my vision caught up with me. Lanya was packing some equipment together, pots, rags and other useful things.
She tied her dagger scabbard to her waist and turned to me, her ebony skin glinting in the moonlight that infiltrated the large tent.
I could see the despair in her eyes and I knew what they said. She had to find her sister. Lanya had always said she would look for Keera once the rest of us were safe but I never thought it would be this soon.
I will never forget those three words she said to me before raising her pack and taking off into the morning darkness.
She was my best friend. My companion. My heart. I don't think I shall rest easy until she is safe with me once more.

25th May

Uncle Reamus was a great comfort today. Although there was not much time to sit and think about the previous mornings events. Sir Kaylem had called the three of us to his tent. We have been given the opportunity to join The Duchy of Wessex. I now feel as though we have a place in this world, no more moving from place to place and living on the move.
Perhaps things are looking up for us...

12th August

I haven't written in this book for some time but I have been very busy. There has been a multitude of tasks at hand from weapon and building repairs to hunting for food and other materials we can sell to the passing traders. We are at this moment staying at the camp of Moh-Ki as I said previously and there is talk of eventually moving to our own settlement. Talks are going on long into the night. I have learned that this community came to these lands from a far off continent and escaped from a huge political war of sorts. Their Duke and ruler... well my ruler I guess I should say now, is currently in hiding somewhere "safe".
I have also been in conversation with the Bishop, Malachi Drake. He has been really comforting these past few weeks, telling me about my family and that after they died they return to the creator of these lands, Soldeus, to rejoin his "radiant light". Aparrently we have some form of light inside of us that was taken from him when he created us... although, as of yet, I have not seen any form of illumination during combat. Just a lot of blood.
I will not be writing much more for some time as we are getting busier by the day.

(These next few pages merely remarked upon days events such as hunts and scuffles with bandits who more or less were easily dispatched.)

22nd July, Year 409

A lot has happened today. After our usual daily tasks, me and His Excellency, Malachi Drake had another one of our discussions. I have finished reading through his Journal about Soldeus as I stated not three pages ago and I have decided to take him up on his offer. I am now a Friar of the Duchy of Wessex. I feel a lot happier about the past year, although I still miss those that I lost greatly, I have come to terms with the fact that I shall most likely never see them again.
Well I have responsibilites now so I shall get to them. I have to rewrite the Journal for now so there is another copy for safe keeping. This should be a nice change to the hunting. Although I could possibly get a paper cut, ha!

(More pages with little to no information worth reading.)

12th November

I passed my priest exam today. I am now a Priest of Wessex. Father Elagost Thego. I am so happy that I have made a name for myself amongst these people. Some of the newer villeins even come to me for advice. We are slowly growing in numbers and as soon as the word starts to get out about our Radiant Lord Soldeus, then people shall be flocking to our lands to share tales of his glory!
Sir Kaylem has also promised us a church once we construct our permanent settlement.
Well this Journal is getting old now. I am thinking of starting a fresh one now that I have new responsibilities. A new chapter of my life will be unfolding, I am sure of it.
I shall keep this book close to me. It has gotten me through some tough times.
Although, I get the feeling someday the time will come where I too have to leave to find someone. Someone still very dear to me.

I am sure Soldeus will understand and forgive me if this urge of reunion causes me to leave abruptly.

I pray to you Soldeus that you would return her to me one day.

Keep her safe. I beg of you.
